CPO & CCO
2024 - 2024
Gaálhab Ltd.
In this role, I held a combined position of Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), while also taking on many responsibilities typically handled by a Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Despite the obvious challenges and obstacles that lay ahead, I was immediately impressed by the company's robust IT infrastructure and its physical capabilities. These strengths presented an exciting opportunity, and I was eager to dive in and take on the challenge. The potential for growth and improvement was clear, and I was determined to leverage the company’s existing assets to drive success, even in the face of significant hurdles.
I was entrusted with overseeing both production operations and business development, helping the company thrive and grow within the competitive domestic upholstery furniture industry and Central European markets

My leadership extended to critical decision-making, particularly when adapting to market fluctuations. During a major downturn, I worked closely with the CEO to develop an effective exit strategy, ensuring the business continued to thrive under challenging conditions.
My experience in high-level strategic planning, combined with my ability to act decisively in times of change, contributed greatly to the company.
Challenging Chapter: Facing Financial Realities
Despite my dedication and the extensive experience I brought to the company, the reality was that I was invited into the role too late to steer the organization away from its financial troubles. Despite our best efforts to revitalize the operations, the company had already reached a critical point. When we finally recognized the situation, it became clear that there was little we could do to prevent the inevitable.
At that stage, the financial situation was so dire that the company was unable to meet its immediate obligations, including paying employee salaries for the following month— a result of prior decisions made before my involvement. With a heavy heart, I parted ways with the company, exchanging a final, friendly goodbye, knowing I had given my all.
This experience served as a powerful reminder of the importance of timing, leadership, and the weight of earlier business decisions in shaping a company’s future. It also reinforced my ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and dignity, even in the face of uncertainty.
